Looking for a marketing-savvy co-founder

Hey IH,

My name is Jan, I’m a fullstack dev with a few years of experience building products, but I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty doing marketing/sales/anything else.

I’m excited and determined to work hard in order to succeed as a SaaS founder, preferably B2B. I’m currently trying to validate my latest idea – PriceRocket. I’m not married to it, though – I’m in it for the long haul, even if it means pivoting or starting over many times.

I’m looking for an experienced marketing/sales-savvy cofounder, who will be as committed and driven as I am. Someone who’s not afraid to step out of their comfort zone, who will fail and learn with me. Someone who’s in it to win it in the long run.

If you’re interested, reply with some info about you and a way to contact you – I’ll reach out if it sounds like a match ;)

You can also hit me up directly on Twitter: @JanTheSaasGuy or via email: contact (at) pricerocket .co

Cheers!

I might be your partner - where are you based Jan? I'm from Sydney. Have a background in finance, analytics & marketing :)

Hey! I'm based in Europe, so quite a big time difference, but I wouldn't cross it out! Why don't you drop me an email at [email protected] so we can discuss it further.
      Cheers!

Your product looks awesome, very professional site. Why are you "not married to your idea"?
Don't you think it got potential?

      Thanks!

What I meant is that if it turns out to be something that people just don't want, I won't have any problems with letting it go and switching to something else.

That said, I do believe it has potential and I'm working towards validating that claim. I very much hope I'm onto something here!

Seems like it solves a pretty burning problem- A/B testing and optimising pricing strategy to the maximum.

I run a marketing agency, and would be happy to collaborate. Let's connect: saleh [at] rankwizards.co

    Hey @JanTheSaasGuy - nice post.

While I'm prob not your co-founder, I could pinch hit on your next step: validate my latest idea – PriceRocket.

From what I understand, PR can integrate with existing Shopify stores and has a dashboard so users (testers) have a quick and visible time to value.

As a SaaS product, by validating I understand you want some shops using it so we'd find B2B SaaS companies and B2C CPG stores to run a lil A/B test of our own.

Reminds me of work I did at Yoop (B2B tokenized ticketing) where we used cold outreach to find event operators and had sales assets to land them.

During this time, I built a tool in google sheets that generates likely email addresses and used Yet Another Mail Merge with tracking to send and show me which email was real and delivered, and which wasn't.

Can rinse and repeat the following process: scrape companies --> generat email --> send cold outreach --> land

A bit about me, I'm Donut's ex product marketing manager where we grw to $300m AUM, ex-Yoop where we tokenzied ticketing across several continents and worked with some dope artists, and currently trying to build Celi (in an MVP beta right now).

      Hey James,
      Thanks for reaching out!

I'm not sure an agency is what I'm looking for, I'm more of SaaS guy, you see.

That said, I'm far from blindly saying "no" without seeing the bigger picture! I'll hit you up with an email and let's explore if we can make it work

      Cheers!
