Hey! I've spent the last few months getting really deep in building my first app and I'm actually pretty happy with where it's at. My unbiased opinion is that it is the best way to write lyrics for song ideas.
I've shown it to songwriters in my network and I've gotten pretty good reception. One feature specifically gets a lot of oo's and ah's.
I'm a product designer by trade, so this was built with ai, and there are definitely some hiccups that I'd like to iron out, but I would love for a real design engineer to help me smooth it out and make it feel premium.
Please reach out if you've got time and have experience with react native!
Bonus if you're a songwriter, yourself!

Hey Scotty, Spur looks awesome — I’m a React Native engineer + product builder. I’d love to help polish the UX. You can DM me here or reach me via my portfolio:
Really cool concept — a lyrics creation app that actually gets good reactions from songwriters tells me the core value is resonating with users already. Since you’ve built the product deeply as a designer, a smooth design-implementation handoff and tightening up the interaction patterns — especially around transitions, feedback, and navigation flow — will make it feel truly premium.
One pattern I’ve seen work well for apps built with React Native is focusing early on consistent UI feedback loops (like subtle animations or loading states) to make the experience feel polished without adding much complexity. That often makes a big difference in retention and perceived quality.
Curious — what’s one part of the UX you feel closest to polishing next (e.g., onboarding, song history flow, or in-editor interactions)? It usually reveals where a collaborator can add the most impact.
Hey Scotty, I am a developer and I can help build your mvp (web, mobile) in under 14 days so that you can validate your idea with real customers and even deploy it in app store and play store.
