Looking for a no-stress expense splitting app for groups

Sharing what actually worked for me.

I’ve done the whole thing, trips with friends, shared stays, group dinners, and expense splitting always becomes unnecessarily awkward. People forget, numbers don’t match, and someone always ends up double-checking everything.

I tried a few options, but most expense splitting apps felt heavier than needed. Too many steps, too much explaining, and friends losing interest halfway.

Recently, I started using this expense splitting app called Zedger
👉 https://www.tryzedger.com/

Honestly, it just works. Add expenses, split them, and you’re done. No confusion, no back-and-forth. Everyone can see what they owe, which avoids the drama completely.

If you’re dealing with shared expenses often, this one’s been the best I’ve used so far. Worth giving it a try

What are you all using right now for splitting expenses?

Splitwise was great when it was still all free :D

A no-stress expense splitting app helps groups track shared costs easily, settle balances quickly, and avoid confusion during trips or outings.

This is exactly the kind of situation I keep running into.

When someone says “I’ll get back to you in a few days”,
the hardest part isn’t waiting — it’s not knowing what they actually mean.

Do you usually follow up, or do you treat that as a soft no?
