Hey indiehackers!
I am a Software Engineer (@bumi also on GitHub and Twitter) and I am looking for a partner for an existing side project:
www.tinyadmin.io is a tiny but powerful admin dashboard for web apps. It was developed to 'scratch our own itch' as we needed a simple and quick admin panel for our web apps. Many tools (like Metabase) are quite big and complex.
tinyadmin aims to provide a simple admin tool to collaboratively inspect and navigate data. It also is an one-click heroku addon for any app using heroku postgresql.
I am good at building software ;), but I do not find the time currently to push the product forward to see if there is more potential for such a tool.
I am posting here to hear your thoughts and to see if somebody is interested to partner up.
Thanks!
Hey Bumi,
Really interested in this project am a product manager with extensive marketing experience let's connect at atifadamkm@gmail.com.
I was actually having this pain point and thought of this solution.
You should look at the business problem and positioning of headless CMS products like contently, strapi, and sanity.io that create a UI based on db, and even a simple json schema. I think that's a market that loads of companies are paying for that you should definitely look at tweaking your tech/branding/product to.
hmm. interesting, thanks... though I guess that would be a different product.
Hello @bumi at first glance it seems interesting. I wonder if you have tried to see in action the behavior of the user and overall user experience.
I’m surely interested in this project.

Hey @vbaimas, happy to hear you are interested.
It started out of the need for our own projects and I've implemented features from need and feedback that I got. The biggest barrier so far was onboarding I guess. But I did not do proper user research, yet. This for sure should be one of the next steps.
Thanks, @bumi for your response. I think that the next step is to stay connected. We can move our discussion forward step by step. What do you believe?
yes, sounds great! I dropped you an email.
@bumi I replied to you. Check your inbox!
