Looking for a partner - Slack app with 10K ARR + 2k company signups

Hi all,

I started Holopod as a side project in 2020 to help distributed teams take back control of their day.

It's a Slack app that automatically manages your status based on your current work state, provides analytics into how you're spending your time, and automatically manages your DnD.

We've got some excellent traction - teams like BarkBox, SurveyMonkey, Netflix, Uber, and Clear.co are all using the product.

Current stats:

  • 1785 Company Signups
  • 4481 users
  • 80% net user retention

It's currently averaging 3-5 company signups per day.

I haven't yet focused on monetizing, but we do have a handful of enterprise contracts and paying customers.

I am looking for a talented Indie Hacker engineer who is interested in partnering on this app. I've raised VC for another business, and just don't have the bandwidth to focus on Holopod.

While it's not VC scalable, this will be a perfect Indie Hackers project for someone interested in taking over a project with some excellent traction.

I'm confident there's a clear path to a $1m ARR business here.

The current stack is:

  • Ruby on Rails
  • Heroku
  • SWIFT (Mac app)

Ideally I'm looking for a 50/50 partnership, and I'm happy to fund the operational expenses as we scale.

About me: I've been a lifelong entrepreneur, and previously built businesses to millions in users & revenue. Would love to see this project get the love it deserves, and help an Indie Hacker be successful in the process :)

Shoot me a message if interested!

I'm curious what kind of partner are you looking for?

    Competencies etc?

All success with your project. I hope you find a good partner, I would like to participate but I have a lot to learn before.

Not directly related to your question, but how does your onboarding process look like for larger companies? You have some impressive customers, do you have to deal with lots of enterprise requirements?

Sounds promising. Hmu, happy to chat more about it: cole@pastel.software
