Looking for a React Native Dev Cofounder
Hey I'm Irving and I've been trying to bring this idea to life with an MVP. It's called Culinarian & it's essentially a social cooking platform where users can teach/learn from each other how to cook via live stream. You can now have someone cooking with you throughout the whole dish. Think of it like the Yelp of cooking in.
Looking specifically to create a MVP in React Native and I'm even willing to exchange services if that's something you're interested in, if you don't want to be a cofounder. I have creators waiting to do live streams but I just need an MVP for them to use.

Do not let these naysayers discourage you, I think the idea has a lot of potential, especially since food and cooking is almost always ranked highly on social media platforms like pinterest, tiktok, etc. There is a powderkeg of chef and foodie influencers.
I can see this becoming very big, like the Twitch of cooking. Is there any reason why you need it to be in React Native? Do you have some code already written using that framework?
Seems like the biggest issue would be live streaming and storage space for pre-recorded videos (assuming that is required).

You hit the nail on the head on our biggest issues. It's literally being able to host as many people as possible on live stream and of course storing videos and photos.
However that's where I come in and pitch Culinarian around for cash prizes which I have to get us started. Then hopefully start creating revenue through our different revenue streams.
The reason I posted React Native is because our ex co founder coded it in React Native and since he left he's been recommending React Native or even Flutter but I have yet to find a new cofounder with the same or more experience in the Live Stream space.
Why not build in public? Especially if the idea is already out anyway? Given your background in content creation, I imagine you would be eager to forward every step of progress to your audience. Nonetheless, I sent an email to your

Purely technical level is perfectly fine.
Is there a business reason why you need it in React Native?

As for your question our ex-cofounder's professional advice to continue doing it in React Native and even brought up Flutter. As I speak with people that are interested in Culinarian I definitely try to get their take on how they would get this off the ground because you're right there are other ways of going about this and I too am learning as I go. I just am the other side of this idea, I just need the technical side to guide me as well. P.S. I'll look into PWA technology. Thank you!
or instead of using that mess of a framework, he can use Flutter and get a proper multiplatform application including a web version
Not that it will help, the idea will not work on any meaningful scale.

You're ABSOLUTELY right and that's one of the reasons I'd love to speak with anyone interested in Culinarian that understands intricacies of getting this off the ground and seeing how we can go about stripping it to it's most simplest form and start there. I'm honestly very open and flexible!
