I am the founder of ProcureHelper. We build fully custom procurement platforms around how mid-market companies actually work. No templates, no configurations. Built around each client's specific workflows and deployed in as little as 2 weeks. The platform is live, the conversion funnel is in place, and outreach is running.
Here is the honest situation: I can build the product, run operations, and manage marketing. What I cannot do is walk into a conversation with a Controller or VP of Finance and have instant credibility. That relationship and that sales motion is what I am missing.
Who I am looking for: someone with B2B sales experience selling to finance and operations buyers at mid-market companies. Background at Coupa, Procurify, Stampli, Bill.com, Ramp, or similar is ideal but not required. You do not need to know procurement. You need to know how to get in front of CFOs and close them.
US-based, fully remote, equal equity split, four-year vesting with a one-year cliff.
If this sounds like you, send me a DM or drop a comment!
Hi Buciyo!
I’ve been following the discussion about ProcureHelper and your search for a sales partner. I think you hit on a critical point: the 'credibility gap' with CFOs.
From a workflow optimization perspective, credibility often comes from the product itself—how well it mirrors the complex, operational reality of a Finance department. If your platform is as flexible as you say, your biggest sales tool isn't just a pitch, but a frictionless flow that makes a Controller feel like the system 'thinks' exactly like they do.
I specialize in identifying operational bottlenecks and reducing cognitive load for non-technical users. I’d love to offer you a strategic audit of your current workflows to ensure they speak the 'language of finance' intuitively.
If we bridge that gap in the product, your future sales lead will have a much easier time closing deals because the ROI will be self-evident. Let me know if you're open to a fresh set of eyes on your flows.
I'm in the exact same position as you with my company EarnDrift. If you find any solutions let me know. lol.
Will do buddy, what's earndrift about?
Hi Buciyo
Your co-founder should be able to walk into a conversation and have professional credibility EXACTLY because he knows procurement better than anyone. You built a sytem which solves a pain point so you need to train him on it's features so he knows how to pitch it. You need to tweak this ad and say "You need to understand Procurement and how we at ProcureHelper differentiate ourselves from our competitors, so when you walk into a conversation with a Controller or VP of Finance and have instant credibility". Good luck with it.
Thanks for the perspective, this is actually a really useful reframe. You are right that I can train someone on the product and how we differentiate. The domain expertise lives with me. What I really need is someone who knows how to run a complex B2B sales cycle and is comfortable in a room with senior finance buyers. I have been filtering too hard for pre-existing procurement knowledge when what actually matters is the sales motion and the credibility to have the conversation. Appreciate the honest feedback.
Hey Buciyo, really impressive progress with ProcureHelper! One thing I noticed: optimizing the onboarding and dashboard clarity for finance buyers could make initial conversations even smoother. A few quick UX tweaks could highlight ROI and reduce cognitive load for first-time users.
Thanks for the feedback. Dashboard clarity and onboarding for finance buyers is definitely something I am thinking about as we get closer to our first client. Appreciate you taking a look.
