I'm a technical guy from Bucharest and I'm looking to start a slow race towards an Internet business.
I like Jason Fried. Like, a lot. He does not rush into things. Neither do I.
I'm in a full time position as a devops engineer in a large corp. I have tech chops, but I'll be honest: I am not great at anything else. I am on the lookout for an opportunity to start a thing - solo if I have to, but would prefer to work with someone. I'm angling towards a micro-saas, a small app that can solve a problem in a niche, preferably tied to eCommerce, Web dev, content, analytics, publishing. I try not to limit myself, but I believe in building what you know.
My goals for the next 3-4 months are to find an idea and validate it, plan to implement it as a side gig, and build up some skills.
If you're patient, slow, careful, analytical, have some free time, and want to bounce some ideas back and forth, look me up.
I run www.tractionmate.com and work with developers and early startup founders to build early traction. And, I also run another productized service to build an email list using lead magnets and a few other tactics. It's @ https://www.listbuildify.com
Let me know if you want to talk.
Sounds right up my alley Vlad, hit me at chikhaoui.elhadj@gmail.com and let's see what we can do :)
What tech stack are you comfortable with, Vlad? And are you searching for a dev partner or a marketer/product person with an idea?
