Hi. I currently own a fairly successful d2c e-commerce site (low 8 figures annual revenue). We built an inventory management system on big commerce 4 years ago for internal use. We switched to Shopify and have spent the last 2 years looking for something comparable, but it doesn't exist. Looking for someone to be my technical co-founder and we can get make it happen.
Hey, full stack dev here. I just finished building a big e-commerce platform based on Sylius (PHP) and Next.js (React). Before that I was mainly working on building custom made API’s. I really enjoy the e-commerce space and decided to specialize in that area. It might be interesting to have a call and see if we fit.
shot you an email!
@statking22 I am curious why do you say you haven’t found something “comparable “ for Shopify. I know there are a lot of inventory management softwares around. What features are they missing?
Also if you want to build it based on your specific business requirements it might happen that other businesses/e-commerce sites won’t find much value in it because they probably will have different business processes. It’s a little tricky, but try to keep it flexible and a little more general, and not too specific.
I’m also working on building an inventory management software in Laravel. I am at about 40% with the development.
Drop me an email (contact it’s on profile page) if you want to exchange some ideas and maybe we can put something up together. We don’t need to partner up on anything if we don’t feel like, but if we present our visions we can learn from each other.
hi raduC! Shoot me an email kevin@audryrosejewelry.com
do you have some sort of specification and a budget ? you can get in touch directly if you want (contacts in my profile)
Hello, can you please let know more details about what skills are you looking for in a co founder? I will be interested to help back end development
Looking for a technical cofounder. I think we would probably build the app on heroku, in ruby, python, node, or php, although ultimately I would defer to you. My first company built software on facebooks ad api, but we did it for our internal agency use. This would be a SaaS play. This is not a quick app to build, it would probably take us 4-6 months to get a working MVP, but on the plus side, e-commerce businesses pay a high monthly fee for inventory management software. The app would only need an integration with Shopify to start, but ultimately would probably need to integrate with quickbooks and some of the popular shipping softwares (shipstation, easypost, shippo) Let me know if there is something I did not cover.
Hello software engineer with 15+ years running my own consulting company in telecom, banking and insurance, mostly. But I have worked in startups and funded two of my own. I am very versatile. I am looking for a nice project/challenge to get involved in. Drop me an email so we can begin the conversation.
