Looking for Android testers for Phone Security: App Guard — happy to test your app in return

Hi Indie Hackers,

I’m currently preparing Phone Security: App Guard for its public Google Play release and I’m looking for Android users who can join the closed test.

Phone Security is a privacy-focused app blocker and digital wellbeing product developed by Pala Software. It is designed to help users create stronger digital boundaries without requiring an account or cloud storage.

Current features include:

• Always-on app blocking
• Focus Lock
• Schedule Blocking
• Daily Usage Limits
• Local PIN protection
• Local-first storage

I need testers who can complete the three steps below, install the app, try the main features, and remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days.

Please use the same Google account for every step:

  1. Join the Google Group:
    https://groups.google.com/g/phone-security-app-guard-testers

  2. Join the closed test:
    https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.palasoftware.phonesecurity

  3. Download the Android app:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.palasoftware.phonesecurity

Joining the Google Group alone is not enough. Please also join through the closed-test page and install the app from Google Play.

I’m happy to test other Android apps in return and remain enrolled for at least 14 days. Feel free to share your own testing links in the comments after joining.

Feedback on onboarding, app blocking, Focus Lock, translations, schedules, daily limits, or general usability would be genuinely helpful.

Thank you for supporting an independent software product during its final testing stage.
