Hey everyone on Indiehackers,
I've got something real here, and I need the right people to take it and run their own show with it.
TheLastSeat is a registered brand with a complete cashless and ticketing platform that's already live, selling thousands of tickets every month for events all over Portugal. Festivals, conferences, club nights, you name it. The software works like a dream, organizers love it, and it's making money right now.
But here's the thing:
I can't be everywhere. I want to find sharp, ambitious people in Europe (outside Portugal), the UK or the Emirates (where I'm moving to), who are ready to step in and build their own company around TheLastSeat.
This isn't a job. This is you starting your own business, today, with a brand and product that's already proven, already paying, probably had an event in your Country already, and already loved. No coding, no fundraising, no "let's see if this works." It works.
You reach out to event organizers in your area. You show them a system that's live and crushing it. You close the deal. They pay. You grow. It becomes your portfolio, your clients, your revenue. After the first few wins, word spreads. Organizers start coming to you. It turns into a proper SaaS business under the TheLastSeat brand, with you at the helm in your market.
And the best part? It's fun as hell. You're in the middle of the action: music festivals, tech conferences, underground parties, comedy shows. You meet the people who make things happen. You're not stuck in an office. You're building something real, with real people, in real places.
I'm looking for founders, not employees. People who want to own their future, not clock in for someone else's. If you're in London, Dubai, Berlin, Amsterdam, wherever outside Portugal, and you're ready to move fast, let's talk.
Tell me:
Where you're based
One type of event you'd love to work with
Why you're done waiting and ready to build
This is your shot to skip the struggle and start with momentum.
Let's make TheLastSeat huge in your market. DM me.
Let's do this.

This is a really concrete opportunity — TheLastSeat already works, is making money, and event organizers love it, which is rare for a founder-seeking-partner post.
One thing I’ve seen help founders expand into new markets is starting with a clear go-to-market playbook (e.g., targeting certain types of events that share similar decision criteria such as music festivals or tech conferences) and pairing it with local testimonials early on — those two combined help convert the first few organizers faster.
Curious — for someone stepping into, say, the UK or UAE market, which type of event segment (festivals, corporate events, nightlife, etc.) do you think is the strongest early play to prove traction outside Portugal?
Hi! Sorry for the very late reply!
To your question, concerts, parties, comedy shows, tours and similar. Everything that is one person deciding. For example theaters are a disaster as the deciding party is usually a big group of people. They are not "difficult customers", they are just not the most vertical when starting in the area.
UK out of the blue I would say probably pretty similar to our experience in the rest of Europe.
UAE probably meetups and group gatherings.
If you're interested let me know! We are growing a lot as a service.
Thanks you for your question.
Nice build. How long did it take to reach this stage, and what would you do differently if you started again?
Sorry for the late reply!
Thanks for the compliment, means a lot.
5 years and counting. We were not from the area and we never took funding. The first six months after having our first version, we had zero customers. When we got our first customer we made profit 10€ and spent 20€ in beer at his small event. Super great experience!
Now we've been all over and our platform sells thousands of tickets every day. It's a huge joy to be a part of so many people's incredible moments.
It's a complicated area to build on from scratch as there's a lot of regulations and what not. Needs a lot of work and commitment. We see a lot of startups coming and going every year. Our decision to start small just in Portugal and not "advertise" outside, made a huge difference. Gave us time to learn and our "crashes" were not that bad in the grand scheme of things.
At this point we've had events all over. We support a lot our event organisers and they value that. Gives us loyalty customers. Hence why we want local heros everywhere to replicate our proven recipes and grow fast but steady.
Thank you for your question, super cool to get it!
Also, let me know if you're interested :)
