Hi all, I launched the new landing page and want to get some constructive feedback on it.
Does it make you want to sign up and check out the product?
Did you get all the information you were expecting?
Any suggestions and comments
Thank you for your time!
I'd suggest to show the product on the top of the page. Right now you have to scroll down three sections until you can see the product and get a sense of what you are using.
Also consider de-emphasize private journals. I would think public community based journals and private journals are totally different products for different groups. By trying to be everything for everyone it's hard to have a product that stands out.
Good luck!
Hey Park
your landing page is not that bad it just needs some tweaks.
for the design :
1- use a container to hold all your content in the same place the logo and menu are on the corner while your text is in the center and that's really distracting
2- the undraw illustrations are overused try to avoid them use freepik vecteezy the have a really big catalog
3- change the Membership icons with check icons and X green and red would make it look pretty nice
4- move the price on the top of the table before 'FREE' write 0$ and before 'MEMBER' write
$39.99/year
for the content :
1-Online journal meets community doesn't really clarify the purpose of the platform and how it works
2-you might wanna add more links to the menu to build more credibility contact/about
3- add social media links to build your online presence
4- the hero section isn't catchy you may change the image with a video that describes the platform
5-well done with the screenshot but that section doesn't look like its clickable it took me a while to figure that out some tweaks in the design will solve your problem and i would highly recommend removing the graphics
6- in the membership table add your CTA to join for free with small note no CC required
7- remove the section that says 'Start writing for free now, and if you want additional features, consider becoming a member at any time!' don't promote the membership too much you want to capture their email at least and you can market the membership to them later
8- i would add some interesting topics writing by the community as a section with a catchy headline and well-writing content that has a lot of interactions
9- promote your apps everywhere in the hero section and at the bottom of the page don't expect people will take time and look out for them
10- social media icons at the bottom with contact info email phone number
11- the 'Why write Journal' is really interesting you might add a section in the homepage with little description and a link to it
i hope i was helpful
