To get people interested, it may be worth highlighting what's in it for them. No one wants to spend time applying for something that doesn't turn out to be what they are after.
Value is always negotiated. If someone doesn't have to ability to ask, communicate or to investigate, it doesn't really strike me as an entrepreneurial material.
If I were to place a value and dangle it as a carrot, it is the same as a transaction. I'm going after trust and common vision.

Hello! Nope, you just have to update the picture of the latest location.
What can be a better example: your toolbox that is not commonly used. Just take a picture of location and the toolbox. So the next time you need it, you won't need to spend time finding this.
Or if you have a lot of items in a storage locker (e.g in uHaul) you can make a list. So, you don't need to drive down to check if that 'item' is there.
Also, we are not doing this application for items that are commonly moved around in your home for e.g we are not helping users to find their keys.
