I have a text based game named Danger World. I've gotten about 100 users and I'm still growing steadily, but I'm wondering where other people have found the early users of their mobile games. Any stories or recommendations for us founders who are less familiar with the sales side of the job? And for that matter, who here likes choose your own adventure style adventures or role-playing games? You can learn more about my particular example at https://danger.world. #growth
find niche subreddits (don't sell on reddit, try to be an active member of the community) and submit it to startup directories (there are literally tens of them, all free if you have the patient to wait).

Thanks again!
Thanks!
looks interesting, but I bet having both app installation and email registration before getting any value is too much for many. Perhaps you could eliminate or delay either or both to increase traction.
Thanks for checking it out. I only recently made the app installation and email registration required (like maybe a week ago?), so I don't have hard numbers yet on how its hurting traction. But you're definitely right that any login gate will result in a spike in bounce rate. My account refactor made me side-line my web demo until I get back around to creating anonymous accounts (which would let me delay both).
google play link was broken, something like https://p/lay.google.com/
Gah, thanks for telling me! Already deploying a fix.
EDIT: Fixed.

Right now it's only for mobile apps. At one point I had a web demo, but I recently took it down. There's a RSS feed and a mailing list on the website if you to be notified when I get a web version out again.
