Looking for feedback/advice on our App

Hi, everyone! 👋
We launched our app back in May, but up until now, we got only ±20k downloads and around $300/mo MRR across both stores. We tried investing around $7k of our bootstrapped money into Seach Ads, but as soon as we stopped the campaigns, users churned and keywords rankings dropped...
Yesterday we updated our app to V.2 - the main change here was that we scrapped our old design and made it all according to Apple guidelines and Material-UI.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can give starting from our landing page (https://www.fibe-app.com) to content, app performance or anything you think might help us to get more users.

Here is the link to our landing page from where you can choose which store to visit: https://www.fibe-app.com

Thank you!🙃

Hey @Linasaurus, your landing page looks pretty good! On a macro level, I think that the typography can be improved on. It's a matter of proportions, and spacing, I think larger headings might help, and also larger screenshots of your app.

What I am seeing is that there is a lack of contrasting sizes as every element is sort of has an equal presence on the screen. Also, some of the color contrast can be improved, such as the white text on background images.

Sketch does a great job of using contrasting size, colors, etc:

The other thing is that your copy might be a bit too wordy, of course this is something you should A/B test, but I have some ideas for you to try out. Instead of having two paragraphs stacked to describe one of your features, have a lead-in paragraph, and then point-form the rest. If possible, use some icons, as someone that is skimming through, a wall of text doesn't give me anything to latch on to.

    Good luck with Fibe!

Hi @jaryl, huge thanks for your insights! I completely agree with you on being too wordy. We tried not to focus too much on describing features, but then it turned out to be about nothing...
I appreciate your tips on proportions and spacing, I'll try playing with it to see how it changes the whole thing.
      Kudos! 👏

I think you should be charging for your app - free trial then charge. Plus you should find people who need it for their job. Sharing images to Squarespace, to Shopify (dropshippers) to Medium, LinkedIn for recruiters. Find platforms where people either directly or indirectly get paid for their content getting engagement. Social media such as Fb Instagram etc is all free so people are not likely to pay in these markets. Also, you could show how images such as your own drive engagement against posts with no engagement. There's probably some Gartner statistics you could Google and find. Hope this helps!

Good hustle, I love the feel and am curious to try it out (though I'm not in target audience). The website has a lot of great content, but its potential to convince is hindered by the sizing.
Like jaryl mentioned, make it BIGGER. Images and headings first.
The templates section deserves a looped animation, seeing as it's the differentiation (right?). If it's anything like your website shows, then it'll sell itself!

First impression: Design for... what? For who? Design is such a broad category with so many big players. If you niche-d down to, say, social media post design, then you're not swimming in such a big pond, and you can really start to understand your target audience.

    Nice pricing structure.

I have previously been struggling to get pricing fit right myself. In a similar boat by way of downloads and total reviews.

Landing page I found it so broad I wasn't sure what could be made, and in particular a specific need. I assume most new users find it because they have a need rather than a general thought of let me find an all in one graphics template tool.
Well the need based user is more motivated to spend money to solve their problem.

I would delve deep into the paying customers, focusing closely on what pain points are being solved. Eg if 80% of paid customers are doing let's say Facebook headers, then focus on making that one area so amazing that your above all competition. Then place ads targetting whoever that target market is. Tweak until ROI is maxed.
