Looking for feedback on a new professional social network.

Hello, I'm looking for feedback on a new project I'm working on.

Quonective - A new professional social network for investors and founders. A platform that would help you build real relationships, join communities to meet other founders or investors like you, share ideas, look for co-founders, join competitions and more.

The whole purpose of Quonective is to help you connect and build relationships in the professional area. By allowing you to interact with founders, entrepreneurs, VC's and investors. So Quonective would be a specific social media for people looking to make connections in the professional and business area.

Also, I'm in the journey of finding a co-founder. Let me know if you're interested.

    To give you some ideas:
    What's your differentiator?
How is this different from what is already out there?
What incentive do I have to join there, when everything I need is already covered with LinkedIn?

      Hey, thanks for the reply.

My differentiation is that quonective would be focused on investors and founders. The platform would provide you with tools to make it easier to build relationships, validate your ideas, and more.

The different between LinkedIn for example is that LinkedIn alongside with other platforms out there is that we're focused on solving different problems.

LinkedIn is all about: Companies & jobs.

Quonective is all about: Investors, Founders, VC's & Startups.

Then you have to differentiate against at least:

        • Hacker News (discussion quality)
        • Indiehackers (focussed founders)
        • Angel List (investor network)
        • thousands of smaller or private communities and informal networks. How?

What do you envision exactly for "tools to make it easier to build relationships, validate your ideas, and more"?

I think you'll need some sort of killer app in your network, or else there is no reason to use it.

Yes, I'm still validating Quonective, so for sure there's still a lot of changes to do and you're right I've been thinking about it, why people would choose to use my platform over others?

I need to find the right features to make the platform desirable for others to bother to join. You have any suggestion?

          Bests,

I have no ideas for you, sorry. Probably a good idea to start talking to as many people as you can, online and offline
