I published a business book on KDP that could have been better. The main reason: I didn't get critical feedback early enough from people who didn't already know me.
Writing book #2, different approach. It's a business fable about escaping data/ops firefighting culture. Think Phoenix Project, but for data strategy, corporate dysfunction meets transformation through story, not lectures.
I need honest reactions from strangers:
Does the story work?
Where did you say "oh fuck, this is me"?
Where did you stop caring?
Target reader: anyone working with data/analytics/operations or leading those teams.
Read as much as you can before you lose interest. Stopping at page 40 because it lost you is more valuable feedback than finishing out of politeness.
