Hello!
I have started writing about my journey as an IndieHacker on my blog and would like to get some feedback from you guys. I am trying to use my blog as a public journal for myself and (possibly) others to share what I am learning along the way as a developer and product maker.
My most recent post can be found here. TLDR: I talk about launching Knaqq.app, what a flop it was and what I have learned.
Thank you in advance :)
I thought this was a nice post! You were very succinct, to the point, and I was able to easily get the point of the article. Coincidentally, I was thinking about putting my product on product hunt and am now realizing I'm nowhere near ready! My only suggestion would be to drop the 'not to shabby' gif towards the bottom. It felt out of place and distracting, and took me awhile to figure out what it was referring to.
@cloubao - I really enjoyed your post. I wouldn't get too discouraged by the Product Hunt results. Most companies require many successful launches, so keep going. This video from Kat Mañalac at YC may be helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xU050kMbHM. I think you did a great job summarizing lessons. I hope you continue to share so others can learn from your experience as well.
Thank you @ryanh1 I know I sound like I am extremely devastated in the post but I was being extra 😅. I am a little bit sad though but like you said we keep moving 👉🏾
