Hi IH community,
We just deployed our landing page yesterday for a product we're currently exploring and I'm hoping to get some feedback from everyone here. The goal for me is to understand whether or not the landing page is able to help people easily understand what our product does.
I'm also interested in any other feedback you might have to make this page better. Thank you so much!
Hi Jason, great product! I think you did a good job of explaining what it does, but I think you should definitely put the 'Who is this for?' section up higher.
It would be good to show it in action, especially when you talk about how it works. I love the illustration you have there, but might be good to have it as gifs and videos that show every step of the process, as well. :)
Finally, since you haven't opened up the product to the masses yet, it might be good to have some kind of an offer for pre-launch subscriptions. For example, can you share an eBook with best collaboration practices? Something like a lead magnet, to convince people to stay in the loop.
Hope this helps! If you have any questions, let me know. Have a nice day!
Thank you so much Lana. I'll be working on the video next to help clearly demonstrate the value prop. I'll also think about what are some of the contents I can put on the page to help drive some traffic.
I'll be sure to reach out with any questions. Thank you again for the feedback!
I'll come at this from a perspective of a designer and a non-developer. You've laid out information really well and copy is crisp and to the point.
One thing that you could surely improve is the first image on the first fold of the website. I believe you should use that space to immediately demo your value proposition rather than use a generic illustration. A screenshot being captured and saved or being sent to a chat window will convey the value immediately.
Rest of the information flow, in my opinion, is well laid out but seems to be missing one thing - to communicate how a potential user might be using the tool. Even a simple Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 with (drumroll) screenshots would be golden.
Overall, I do get a rough idea of the tool and so that's great. Addition of how I'll be using it in my workflow will be awesome. I'd say the illustrations used on the websites don't convey much at this point and feel like placeholders. In this scenario, you can look to get some custom work done if your budget permits, or see if you can replace them with well laid out graphics of screenshots and desktop workflows. The whole look and feel of the website (colors, type, spacing) can be drastically improved but that's a much easier job.
Thank you so much for the feedback and this is super helpful.
Your point regarding creating a demo is something I'll be working on next as that conveys the value loud and clear.
Seem as the steps is another thing I'm planning on adding to the page. I'm currently brainstorming through design and how to present the information better.
You're spot-on on the images. They are mostly placeholders because I was trying to get a landing page out fast. I'll try to work on the content first and improve the design as a next step. Thanks again for the feedback!
