Looking for feedback on positive community site ๐Ÿ˜Š

https://staging.gratefulplace.com/

Hi everyone! I have a small community site gratefulplace.com that I've rewritten after 5 years, and would love love love feedback before the site goes live! The test server is https://staging.gratefulplace.com/

The first time around, I didn't put much effort into growing the site because I just wanted to move on to something else. This time, I'm hoping to foster a large, thriving community, and would love any advice on how I can make that happen. Also - this time I've implemented a subscription feature for people to help support ongoing development.

My personal mission is to reduce violence in the world, and growing this site is my attempt to make use of my skills to affect that change. I often say "support the hell out of each other" at work, and I want this site to be a place where people feel supported in their journey toward more kind and compassionate living.

Thanks!

What features are you charging for and how much?

Thanks for the question! Right now it's just a straight up "subscribe to support the site". You get a cute little starry badge icon by your name, but that's it. I'm definitely open to suggestions :)

I've thought about having features like daily email prompts or a subscribers-only section, but I honestly have no idea how to decide between a) delay release to build more paid features or b) release now, get feedback, build the community, and roll out more features over time

At least the technical work of processing payments is done (hooray for Stripe!) so that it will be easier to incorporate paid aspects in the future.

Nice idea, I like being surrounded by positivity :) Having the ability to have categories could be nice. Also, maybe some kind of top/leader board?

As with so many of these things, I would have good intentions on keeping it up, but I'd need some kind of reminder to do it, or to come back, at least to begin with. I don't have answers there, perhaps something for you to think about.
