Hi Hackers,
I put this MVP together to test my idea of using your phone as a keyboard for your desktop PC, sometimes I feel the phone can be faster with its predictive text, autocorrect and Swipe. And sometimes I'm just too lazy to type on a keyboard.
You can send text, and other files, without having to install apps on your phone or PC, go through permissions or have any iOS/Windows/Android compatibility issues.
What do you think? Would people pay for it?

I think this is a cool idea and love that you've made an MVP on Bubble. Personally I much prefer typing on my computer keyboard though.
However I do think a lot of younger people are probably better at texting these days.
Also sending links and files from my phone to my computer is still a pain. I either have to email it or send it to myself on Signal, which requires having the app on both devices.
So yeah - if you do it well I think people may pay for it.

Yeah, Bubble is really great for that, esp as I don't really know how to code properly. I have times where I can type really fast on my PC, but then others where it just feels archaic without better text prediction or correction.
But yeah, younger people will be so used to typing on a phone, just natural.
And yes! Sending links is a bit of a pain; I now go to a QR generation site and paste in the link if it's long and goes to a specific article, then scan with my phone. This is cleaner.

What is the use case for something like this? Is there anything I can do through this service that I can’t do on a keyboard?
On top of that, it seems like to use it I need to go to a website on the desktop, yes? So I need to use my keyboard anyway.

Use case: feeling too lazy to sit up and type on a keyboard, or if you're faster on a mobile than a desktop (I still see people stabbing at a keyboard with two fingers but flying on a phone). And being able to send files without worrying about Bluetooth etc is pretty cool.
Yeah, the point is that you are doing work on your PC, but want to use your phone to type into the PC (wouldn't be great if you're using your mouse a lot, but for typing-heavy tasks like emails and documents it is decent.)
If you use it regularly you'd have a bookmark or your browser would remember the address and you'll be logged in for a month at a time.
I was thinking office workers as the primary market, where IT policies don't allow for apps to be installed on PCs and people type a lot (and use their phones a lot too, so lots of practice typing) and the internet connection is fast.
