Hello IndieHackers,
I've been building small projects for the last couple of years and here is my latest project called Taskwer which I've been building for the last couple of months. I would really appreciate if you would take a moment to check it out and give me some feedback.
What is Taskwer?
Taskwer is an online platform which allows people to raise funds for personal reasons like education, business ventures, travel, rent, debts, utility bills etc. In return, people offer services like tutoring, babysitting, pet sitting, home repairs and improvements, transportation to their supporters.
Why?
As we all know, prices of almost everything have gone up in the last year or two. Every day, more and more people are struggling financially, they have hard time paying their rent, mortgages, bills, even food and other basics. A lot of those people have jobs but they still have hard time getting by. Many of those people have found themselves second jobs, side gigs...
With Taskwer, I want to make it easier for them to raise funds they need by offering services to their communities. Simple services they can do and that way raise funds they need to help pay for their education, rent, mortgages and other.
How it works?
It's very simple really, you create your account and create a campaign. Very similar to Kickstarter campaign. You add the amount of funds you want to raise, add a short story, an image or two, and services you can offer to your supporters. Then, you share it on your social media. When you start getting orders, you can talk to your supporters, arrange deals, create custom offers etc, all in one place.
Final step is completing the task. When you complete it, you can get paid directly by your supporter in cash. Taskwer won't take you any fees. What you earn is yours. Cash payments will be supported soon.
Example:
John wants to raise $3000 to help pay for his education. He can create a campaign and offer home landscaping services. People in his community can buy those services and support John that way in his goal.
That's a short overview, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll be happy to answer all of them. And please leave a feedback, my goal is to build something useful here, something that would really help people, so your feedback would really mean a lot.
