Hi IH,
Just revised my landing page due to a pivot in my product. I'm trying to keep the page simple and only talk about the main value add. It's a payment solution for freelancers/consultants to sell their service as prepaid packages.
Would love your feedback on the landing page copy. Do you think the CTA is enticing enough? Do you think the value prop is clear?
Hi,
Your landing page is very clean, perhaps even too much -- I got the feeling that perhaps the product does not exist yet and it's just someone gauging interest. That's because the header does not have any sign-up or link to any subpages and the CTA is "request invite".
As people mentioned below, the headline and subheadline could be improved (see https://www.indiehackers.com/post/my-step-by-step-guide-to-landing-pages-that-convert-9daefb2064 for some tips).
I collected my feedback here: https://screenbud.com/shot/9fc5904e-53d9-4aeb-814a-7866eee30d2c
Cheers
Hey @palmik, just want to let you know I've made revisions to my landing page. Do you find the new one better?
Appreciate the detailed feedback @palmik! We only have a prototype that we're testing internally right now, but I'll pump out more product images.
I have read the article you linked and I think it's awesome advice. Will go back and make adjustments.
Hey! Kudos on building a great product :) Having worked as a consultant and now running a landing page agency, I think I'm placed well to help you out. Here are my two cents:
The headline "Payment solution for your freelance/consulting business" is concise but it's not benefit oriented. For example, what are they getting out of it? I'm guessing a lot of time will be saved by eliminating the constant back and forth between clients. Maybe you could say that?
Your subheadline should ideally follow this syntax - "what is the product + how is it fulfilling the benefit mentioned in the headline"
Love the illustration. Maybe add a gif or loom video in there to see the product in action?
Your value props can be reframed. Look at your features --> convert those into benefits --> talk to customers which 3 benefits they cant live without --> put them in the value prop. Follow the same headline + subheadline like I mentioned before.
Hope this helps :)

Hi @getSB, I've made changes to my landing page. As a consultant yourself, I wonder if you find the value prop clear?
The value prop is clear for sure but in my opinion could be fleshed out in more detail. I'm not as active here on IH. Email me here: sb@marketcurve.org - and we can continue the conversation there.
Also to add another point:
Great suggestions @getSB! I'll make those changes
I'll add to @88gabriel's answers: I don't find it clear if your product allow online payments and if yes, what's your fees.
Hey @loicm, I've added pricing to my landing page. What do you think about the pricing?
@justnw I think the price should depends on your customers profiles: junior/cheap freelancers: $5 sounds goods. Senior/experts freelancers who invoices higher prices: $5 is to cheap.
I don't know if it helps but that's what it makes me feel.
Appreciate your insight! I'd like to keep the price low for now since the product only has basic features and I want to make it as accessible as possible. When I add on more advance features down the road I'll create different pricing tiers for the users to choose from.
Thanks @loicm! I'll add your questions to the website copy
My personal opinion:
Hey @88gabriel, just made some adjustments to my landing page. Do you find the new page more clear?
Much better than before! The screenshots help explaining what you offer :)
Glad to hear it. Thanks for your feedback!
Great advices @88gabriel. Appreciate it!
