Looking for founders whose priorities keep changing

I've noticed a recurring pattern.

Many founders don't struggle because they lack ideas.

They struggle because every new request becomes a new priority.

The roadmap keeps changing before the previous commitment is completed.

How do you decide what deserves immediate execution and what intentionally waits?

I'm interested in hearing how other founders prevent priority overload.

Priorities that change before the previous one is done is usually a signal that there is no explicit cost attached to switching. We found that teams who define a cost-of-switch metric before allowing a reprioritization stick with things longer. The question that helped: if we drop this, what is the actual cost of picking it back up later? Most founders underestimate restart cost by a lot. Do you have a rule for what qualifies as urgent enough to interrupt current work?
