I am an investor and operator in the short-term rental (STR) market, managing a portfolio of 20 properties, and I am actively seeking a full-stack technical co-founder to launch a startup focused around the top 1% of Airbnb hosts. The vision is to develop a meticulously curated marketplace to serve dual purposes: A. Enable guests to reserve the highest-rated Airbnbs (direct with hosts), and B. Facilitate hosts in acquiring a curated selection of proven products and services for short-term rentals, such as furniture, electronics, linens, soaps, etc at wholesale prices. The business will operate on a freemium model, primarily fueled by payments, by taking a minor percentage of each transaction for reservations and purchases.
