Looking for guidance on shopify alternative for NP
My kid's work at a local non-profit sailing school all summer, and due to the situation we're all in this year the rules have changed a bit. One of the ways they raise money for the program is thru the sale of branded apparel. I volunteer with the program, and since face to face sales are not going to be allowed they want to setup a simple online store. Budget is tight, so shopify fees won't work for them. Is anyone aware of a free, or cheaper alternative that will allow me to point a domain to a one-page store site to manage a small inventory of products and the sales transactions as well?
Maybe Square? www.squareup.com

Thanks everyone. It's volunteer work so I'm going with the simplest option which appears to be square.
@Betilfan - SquareUp or Wordpress + WooCommerce are both definitely worth a look.
Though, you may want to look into combining a landing page builder with a lightweight shopping cart.

There are probably others, but I've seen those mentioned here on IH pretty regularly.
For a shopping cart, you could use something like:

Just embed the Ecwid widget in the landing page somewhere.
There may be other embeddable shopping carts like Ecwid available now, but I haven't done any recent research.
A simple Google search like: "Ecwid vs." (with the quotes) may uncover some new options.
You could also contact any of the above landing page companies and see if they have any eCommerce, Shopping Cart, or payment provider recommendations.
I noticed there are several options for Carrd, so the others may have similar options.

I'd also recommend Printful. Easily integrates with WooCommerce (the open source and free alternative to Shopify).
But you'd need to create a site (I use Wordpress, also free, and recommend the Storefront theme). Not super straightforward, but something to consider if Square doesn't work for you.
