Hey Indie Hackers!
I’m Adetunji Adelakun, Founder of Scantranx, an AI-powered omnichannel retail and inventory management platform helping SMB retailers unify in-store + online sales in one place.
One of the biggest challenges we’ve seen while scaling is breaking into traditional retail markets where many business owners are still transitioning from completely manual operations. Convincing them to adopt modern SaaS tools often requires education, trust, and proof of real outcomes, not just marketing.
⚙️ What We’re Experimenting With
We’re currently exploring:
Product-led onboarding with a guided setup flow
Community-based acquisition by sharing useful retail transformation resources
Content & storytelling tied to real business cases rather than broad messaging
🔍 What I’d Love to Learn From This Community
If you’ve scaled a B2B product in a slow-moving or traditional market:
What acquisition channels worked best for you?
Did PLG work or did you need a sales-assisted model?
How do you balance demo calls vs self-serve?
Would really appreciate hearing strategies, wins, or lessons learned.
🤝 Open to Collaboration
Always excited to exchange ideas with builders here.
Also sharing a resource we’ve looked into for exploring unique digital channels — interesting for growth experiments and entertainment testing:
