Looking for interviewees for my newsletter based podcast

Greetings IndieHackers,

I'm launching a new podcast ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ specifically for newsletter creators. The main goal of the podcast is to inspire up and coming newsletter creators and help those currently running a newsletter to find ideas on how to better grow and execute.

The main structure of the podcast is to interview a newsletter creator and learn everything about their newsletter. Starting with their background, why they decided to start their newsletter, how they grow their audience, their writing processes, and everything in between!

I want to create a newsletter collective knowledge base in audio form.

Why should I be on your podcast you're asking? One great reason is exposure, the more exposure your newsletter has the faster it'll grow. Another reason is it's a great step in understanding if podcasting is something interesting for you to do. I'm a beginner podcaster so there's no pressure on making it perfect!

What's the commitment? About 30min-1hour of your time. It'll be more of a casual conversation, no stress. We'll use Zoom to record the podcast, then I'll edit and publish!

So what do you say? Help a fellow IndieHacker out!

@SuchIndieHackMuchWow has an amazing newsletter and mind-boggling consistency and discipline - I'd recommend interviewing him

@blunicorn thank you for the recommendation! I'll reach out to him now :)

Howdy Yaro! I'd be happy to chat, either about my newsletter product or my two newsletters that I run on it :)

You can reach me at [email protected]!

@buttondown yes I'd love to have you talk about your two newsletters! I'll shoot you an email.

Hi there. I started IndieLetters newsletter 18 days ago (exactly) and now I have 121 subscribers (21 subscribers in the last 20 hours). Until yesterday, I did not even market it outside Twitter and IndieHackers. Now I am expanding it slowly. With a start from Facebook.

I would be happy to be featured in your podcast. I have some English fluency problems. but I believe I can overcome it if you send me questions before the call.

2nd newsletter is already in process. I will launch it somewhere in June.

Yes! And I'm one of the subscribers haha. Great newsletter! I'd love to have you on the podcast. Post your email and we'll set a date. No problems with English fluency. I'll send the questions before hand :)

First of all, thank you for being a person who supported me in early days. (It is still in early phase... )

        And email is [email protected].
Please schedule my interview after a few days as I have a sore throat since yesterday.

P.S I don't care whether someone listens to us or not. We can still enjoy an awesome conversation. (Double benefit: You are a subscriber too.)

        1. 1

It'll start slow, but the viewers will pick up!

          1. 1

            Yup!

I got your email. I will reply you there.

Sounds interesting @yaroslawbagriy, Both my Dutch newsletter OPEN and my newsletter on newsletters Thanks for Subscribing might be interesting. You can reach me at [email protected]

Awesome! Iโ€™ll email you! Running two newsletters sounds so hard, would love to interview you and find out more ๐Ÿ˜Š Iโ€™ll shoot you an email!

I'd be happy to participate. My newsletter, VimTricks, is still in its infancy with only 1,500 subscribers, so I'm not sure how many insights I'll have. But I am happy to share everything I've learned and tried so far.

    1. 1

1500 may be small to you but it's huge to those of us just starting ;) I'd love to know how to even get to 1500 ;)

    2. 1

Wow that would be great! Thank you :) 1500 subscribers is a great number. You'll have so much to share! Is there somewhere I can reach you at? Twitter, email? I checked your profile but couldn't find anything.

@jkristobans Thank you for the advice :) Yes I'm starting my cold outreach campaign soon here. It's a snowball effect. More podcasts you have and the more viewers you have, the more people want to be featured.
