A good landing page should convert you to a customer!

So what products did you recently buy that have great looking landing pages?

Thanks for the OPL shout Lucian! :)

@DannyPostma is doing some great things.

I'm looking more for early stage startups that people bought from.

Lots of landing pages look nice but are they converting well?

Got it. Here is an example that might be more in line with what you are looking for. I guess it's not an early stage startup but it's a great product, the LP converts well for sure and it also converted me recently :) https://beginnerjavascript.com/ by @wesbos

          Thanks.

Wes has such a huge following. it makes it hard to tell if it is the landing page or not :)

Hi Volkan - I've curated a full section dedicated to them (real examples, not templates) over here: https://onepagelove.com/inspiration/landing-page

      Thanks looks good.

I have been focused on SaaS landing pages recently but lots to learn from other industries to bring back into SaaS.

Ok so full disclosure, I created DarwinMail.app and spent the last 2 weeks working on the landing page and the main website.

I've added a much clearer message and made our value proposition much more appealing. I truly believe that the landing page has a good design now :)
Please let me know if you don't agree!

    Every feature has a benefit.
Every page has a clean UI.
    Every description has been tailored.
Every action is for a reason.

Has your conversion rates increased with the new LP?

      • I like fixed navbars
      • Try to have 1 main cta, i prefer "beat your inbox" also there is "Get inbox 0"
      • I would prefer a video, that image doesn't mean much to me
      • Put the "At a glance" lower down
      • I can see the images in features
      • not a fan of https://www.darwinmail.app/features.php
      • Put pricing on new page with FAQ?
      • Pick the best testimonials

Hope that helped, would be interested to see if them changes increase your conversion rates.

"Put the "At a glance" lower down"
        So agree.

        Thanks for the feedback.

I uploaded the new landing page earlier today and so it's too early to tell.

        • It's confusing having more than cta isn't it?
        • I'm trying to show off the design and bundles in the image. You're right though, that could mean nothing to many users. A 30sec video that demo's the product would be good.
        • Why is the 'At a glance' section bad where it is? Would you prefer to see the pictures with the feature descriptions? I could move the 'At a glance' section entirely to the features page.
        • Ohhh! Why are you not a fan of the features page?
        • FAQs coming soon! I could put the pricing on a new page but would that be annoying that you can't see it on the landing page?

Thank you very much for the feedback. I really appreciate it.

          • You should have one main CTA, what is the best CTA for your audience and use that (why would you use something that isn't the best)
          • I meant the .php at the end :)
          • Nope, the standard is a /pricing page.

Thanks for the feedback man. You've given me plenty to think about.

This collection always gives me good inspiration for designs. https://hyperpixel.io/ Do these sites actually convert? welp, beats me... that'd be interesting if there are sites that expose conversion metrics!

Yeah I see a ton of these lists I even created one myself https://saaspages.xyz/

But the companies are huge and serve so many industries it is hard for us IHs to learn from them.

What we really need is some lessons learnt from case studies.

The Intercom and Mailchimp landing pages always leaves me in awe. Such beautiful design and message.

Maybe not exactly the answer you are looking for since conversion data is unknown. But, I found many interesting examples at https://www.lapa.ninja/. It's all categorized by industry so maybe you stumble upon known successful companies in your industry and their landing pages there.

Muzli search by InVision is a good place for inspiration, and there's a landing page section https://search.muz.li/ - also logos, pricing pages, dashboards etc
