Hi Indiehackers,
I have built a "Smart Reply API" product(http://4fivelabs.com/smart-reply).
I am looking for the following suggestions:
- Platform integration suggestion like slack, etc.
- How to get B2B customers?
- Any other suggestion, where else do you see this product getting used?
looks cool! if the integration is easy to a non-techie, can see it being applicable to influencers who want to stay connected with their community. May want to do some customer interviews to validate
Thanks, @veenessac. Our ideas match. I did build a "Smart reply for the Instagram" (https://youtu.be/t21Bvik-a_0). I even had influencers using it. But the problem I faced were:
But I am still open to integrating it into platforms like Hootsuite, etc. I am open to new community platform suggestions/ideas where we have to build less. Please let me know if anything comes to your mind.
that's awesome! text messages can also be an option. Feel like connecting with fans through text is becoming trendier nowadays.
Yeah. Community.com right? Have reached out to them already :)
Hi Sandesh!
I've made a list of 120 marketing tactics you can use to grow your business : https://www.thegrowthlist.co/
Some of them should help you 😉
We built EllisX (https://www.ellisx.com/) to help you connect with media and event organizers. That way, you can easily have more customers come to you. Inbound marketing is definitely the future and we are working to more people access to the best channels (articles, podcast, and events) to increase credibility and exposure.
Interesting. I will drop you an email. Thanks.
To get B2B customers, you can research about product that your platform can be integrated with. Then compile a list of all the companies that make or service those product. Reach out to those companies for partnership and reach out to those companies competitors who are willing to buy your product. You can also use LinkedIn to endorse your product to your connections, and also request them to share your posts for better reach.
Thanks for the great tip @Danwan337
This could be helpful for customer support?
There are plenty of support tools you could integrate with if that proves to be a popular use case (Zendesk, Freshdesk, HelpScout, Intercom etc)
Maybe also sales - Drift, Intercom, Hubspot, Salesforce etc
Did you have an ideal customer in mind when creating this?
Thanks, @Ramy. That's an awesome suggestion. Do they(Zendesk, Freshdesk, HelpScout, Intercom, Drift, Intercom, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc) provide a developer ecosystem to build an app on top of them?
We initially built a "Smart reply for the Instagram" (https://youtu.be/t21Bvik-a_0). I even had influencers using it. But the problem I faced were:
So we pivoted to "Smart reply as a service".
Most of them do. Some (e.g. Salesforce & Intercom) see their developer ecosystem as a USP, so they are incentivised to help third party app developers succeed (unlike social networks like Instagram & Twitter, who have been hostile to third-party app developers at times)
Already onto it :) Thanks again @Ramy
Nice. Btw, I'll share this on my API newsletter tomorrow (https://metapine.com)
& here comes the description.
Smart reply suggestions as an API that lets anyone provide Gmail like smart reply suggestions for their app or service. With the smart reply suggestions in conversation, will make every communication faster & easier.
4Five is a developer-friendly hosted smart reply suggestion for every textual communication. The installation process is very reminiscent of integrating Stripe for credit card payments — adding 4Five’s smart reply is just a matter of adding a few lines of code.
Amazing - thanks! This has saved me some time :-)
Thanks a lot. Subscribed.
It can be strenuous, but for B2B customers, I've found cold emailing and connecting on LinkedIn effective in the past.
If you're solving a genuine problem that can help a company streamline their work or save resources, they'll be interested in learning more.
Of course, it also helps to be as authentic as possible with each message you send. Take the time to draft something that focusses on the value their business will gain.
Thanks, @LachlanKirkwood. I totally buy that. Do you have any B2B company in mind which will find my product useful?
I'd personally suggest brands building tools for Messenger chat tools like ManyChat, Chatfuel, etc
Oh ok. I will research. Thanks
