Looking for non-technical founders

I'm a software engineering consultant / fractional CTO. I've built software for Hulu+, Warner Bros Discovery, and many other companies.

Looking to help non-technical founders who need help building their idea, or help to improve/manage their already existing software.

I'm working on a project aimed at improving the user experience around the bail bond process, starting with the Tampa area. The concept is to build a simple, tech-driven platform that makes it easier for people to access services like those offered by aftermathbailbonds .co m
    — fast, reliable legal support when it’s needed most.

As a non-technical founder, I’m looking for someone to help with the MVP and overall technical strategy. If this sounds interesting, I’d love to connect. You can reach me at [your email] or feel free to DM me.

    Thanks!

Hi Michael! I’m building a B2B SaaS company in a space where I have deep domain expertise (enterprise operations and organizational performance). The product addresses a gap I’ve experienced firsthand at scale, and I’m now looking for the right technical partner to help shape the architecture and early build. I've been pressure testing the concept with my personal network and have gotten a lot of positive feedback, thus far. The next phase would be building an MVP.

I bring strong experience on the business, customer, and go-to-market side. I started my career in finance, and now am a director in technology. What I’m seeking is someone who enjoys early-stage product building and wants to bring this to life with me.

Would love to connect and see if there’s potential alignment. What’s the best way to reach you?

Hey Michael, it's great to see this post. There are countless threads from non-technical founders looking for a partner, so seeing the dynamic from the other side is incredibly valuable for the community.

This post also brings up a fascinating point about how the role of the 'technical co-founder' itself is evolving with AI.

The traditional model was a 'visionary' (the non-technical founder) who hands a detailed blueprint to a 'builder' (the technical founder) to translate into lines of code. This works, but the translation process itself can be slow and full of friction.

The new paradigm I'm seeing emerge is a partnership between a 'Product Architect' (the non-technical visionary) and an 'AI Orchestrator' (the new-era technical founder).

In this model, the technical partner's most critical skill isn't just writing code line-by-line. It's their ability to architect a system and orchestrate a crew of specialized AI agents to do the heavy lifting of development. Their job becomes managing this AI workforce, integrating the different AI-generated components, and ensuring the final product perfectly and rapidly matches the architect's blueprint.

For all the non-technical founders replying here, finding a partner who thinks this way is a massive force multiplier. The speed at which you can go from idea to validated MVP becomes an order of magnitude faster.

And for you, @ar, positioning yourself not just as a 'builder' but as an 'AI orchestrator' could attract a very high caliber of visionary partner.

It's an exciting shift. The most powerful founding teams of the near future will likely be a great visionary paired with a great architect of autonomous systems. Good luck with the search!

Thanks for the input! I think that you're right about AI Orchestrators being a large part of the equation with new startups and founders. Everyone is leveraging AI but you need someone with deep technical knowledge of the stack you're using in order to achieve desired results.

      What are you building atm?

      1. 1

Hey Michael, thanks for the great question and for adding that important point. You're absolutely right that deep technical knowledge is crucial.

That's actually the core problem I'm focused on solving.

I'm currently building a platform designed to act as an "execution layer" for non-technical founders. The goal is to abstract away the need for the founder to have deep, stack-specific technical knowledge.

The idea is that a founder can act as the 'Product Architect' – defining their vision, business logic, and user flows in plain language – and then a pre-built crew of specialized AI agents handles the actual coding, database setup, and cloud infrastructure.

So, to your point, the 'deep technical knowledge' is still essential, but it's being embedded into the agents themselves. This makes that power accessible to founders who are experts in their specific domain (like marketing or product design), rather than in writing code.

Michael, I’m building ALLRENTZ, a rental platform for refineries and terminals designed to make securing equipment fast, accurate, and transparent.

The MVP is about 50% complete, with dashboards, onboarding flows, and a SmartMatch demo already in place. I’m looking for fractional CTO-level support to finish the core features — authentication, payments, file storage, and workflow stability for pilot customers.

I’m offering equity with milestone-based vesting to the right partner who can help guide the technical direction and bring this to market.

I’m a non-technical founder working on DripBot, a personal outfit assistant app that helps people decide what to wear each day without the stress of decision fatigue. The app concept combines outfit suggestions with personalization, so users get simple, daily recommendations that adapt to their wardrobe, preferences, and lifestyle.

I bring the vision, design work (I’ve already prototyped a working Figma demo), and a clear path for how to differentiate this from the many “outfit apps” that never stick. What I’m looking for is a technical co-founder or collaborator who’s excited about applying their skills in AI, app development, or product building to bring this to life.

    Hi Michael

I saw your post and I’d love to set up a meeting with you. I have an idea in mind that I’m really excited about, but I need the technical expertise to assess its feasibility and figure out how to bring it to life. I’m also exploring options for the site and overall technical setup it would require.

I’m Tomás, an Industrial Engineer from Buenos Aires with experience in B2B SaaS sales and business development. Over the past few years, I’ve worked at a climate tech startup, leading commercial strategy, closing deals with major industry players, and actively contributing to a $2.1M seed round. Now I’m at the point where I want to start my own project and surround myself with the right people to do it right from the start.

If you’re open to it, I’d love to set up a call to share more about the idea and see if we might be a good fit to work together.

That's fantastic! You've already identified the target market and having expereince in B2B sales in a huge plus. I'd love to talk asap! Shoot me an email:

Hi, I’m Mike as well. I'm working on a platform and marketplace that connects day-traders and swing traders across various sectors with coaches and influencers in the space, providing knowledge, strategy, and accountability.

I’ve already built out the UI/UX mockups and core concept, and I’m looking for the right technical partner to bring it to life. The goal is to give traders direct access to credible mentors while creating a place where educators can build their audience and monetize their expertise.

Would love to connect and see if there’s alignment, and also if you have the time to work on this project.

I am building Plumo (plumohq.com) - digital workers to automate finance operations for SMBs. Looking for help in defining the right systems and architecture for the same. You can reach me at [email protected] if interested in this space.

Thanks for offering your expertise! There’s a real shortage of cutting-edge, locally tailored software solutions for where im from. Most options are just white-labeled products that don’t fully address our unique needs, leaving businesses stuck with tools that don’t quite fit.

I have several ideas aimed at closing this gap, starting with a payroll web app SaaS designed specifically for my particular (small) jurisdiction’s requirements. I’m looking for a partner who can help bring this tailored solution to life, something truly built with our context in mind rather than a generic product.

If that sounds interesting, I’d love to connect and discuss further!

    Hi Michael,

I’m building a private, invite-only social platform designed to strengthen real-world connections instead of keeping people endlessly scrolling.

Instead of a noisy feed, it’s short, meaningful daily updates from only the people who matter most to you. It's intentional, distraction-free, and deeply personal.

I don’t have anything built yet, but I have a very clear vision and business model, along with brand direction and user experience goals. I’m looking for a technical cofounder to take the lead on building the MVP and shaping the product with me — someone who shares the mission and wants to own the tech side in a true partnership.

I want to help people stay connected without sacrificing their mental health, I'd love to get in contact with you if you're interested in this idea!

    1. 1

Thats great! Helping people that struggle with their mental health is definatley needed, I just recently attended a talk were a tech founder presented a doll that can help boost the mental health of children.

What's a good email to reach you at?

      1. 1

I couldn’t send my email through the website, so I went ahead and sent you an email directly. Hope that works.

Hi, I'm a non-technical founder building GlanceMode, an intelligent hospitality concierge SaaS for event venues. It helps venues showcase their space and offering through interactive virtual tours and event packages guided by a virtual host. The goal is to provide 24/7 automated concierge style assistance and convert lookers into confirmed bookings.

I just launched a clickable MVP and looking for feedback from experienced developers or fractional CTOs before I move into a V1 build. If you're open to convo, I'd love to here your thoughts.

Hey! I’m a non-technical founder building WYRLL, a social mirror network, part social commerce fashion app that matches users by body type and measurements to product reviews and clothing fit tips. It’s built around authenticity, affiliate revenue, and a charm-based reward system that unlocks exclusive features like style boards and 3D try-ons.

I’ve already built a functioning UI in Replit and structured the backend with Supabase, but I need help refining the infrastructure, integrating external APIs, and preparing for scale.

    Would love to connect
