Looking for partner to grow revenue-generating AI assistant for job seekers & career coaches

I'm working on CoverDoc, an AI assistant for job seekers and career coaches. I built it for myself after getting laid off in late 2022. It creates well-researched, personalized job guides using real-time info hidden from the job description.

I've recently expanded the product to include AI mock interviews, custom resumes and offer negotiation. A large % of power users are career changers or immigrant professionals looking to overcome language barriers faced throughout the job seeker journey.

  • Product has been live since March 2023: https://coverdoc.ai/
  • Winner of 2023 Zapier No-Code Day Contest for No-Code Featuring AI category
  • 20,000+ total job guides created
  • $1k+ MRR

Areas I need help with:

  • Growth & Marketing – Someone who can run experiments and test acquisition channels, partnerships, and outreach
  • UGC/Performance Ads – Ideally, you’ve worked with Google/Meta/LinkedIn ads for SaaS products
  • B2B2C: I have highly engaged consumers (job seekers) using the product daily, I’m looking to partner with career coaches, schools and outplacement agencies to reach my target audience (their clients). Looking for someone to help me find the right partners and personalize outreach.

I'm open to different partnership models, whether it’s equity-based, revenue-sharing, or exchange of services. Ideally, you’d take the lead on distribution, while I continue to focus on product/tech.

Areas I can help with (if anyone's open to exchanging services):

  • No-code workflow automation
  • Activation and Retention
  • Technical SEO
  • Product Strategy

If anyone is interested, send me a message or comment below. Thanks!

CoverDoc sounds like an incredible tool with a lot of potential for both job seekers and career coaches! The way you’ve built it out, especially with features like AI mock interviews and personalized job guides, is impressive. It’s clear that you’re solving a real problem, and it’s exciting to see it grow.

Hey Ambar, congrats on getting to revenue with a no-code based Product/MVP and good luck with the partner search! You mentioned zapier for the automations but what are you using for the site itself (I'm assuming the results of the zapier automations are accessible directly on the site once you sign in)

Thanks! So the front end is on Softr which has a tight integration with Airtable. I've actually moved off of Zapier for a lot of automations and now have all the API calls to OpenAI / Perplexity running in GCP. Basically when a user requests a job guide it triggers an Airtable automation which calls a script in GCP that gets the content and stores the output back in Airtable. If I had to do it all over again in 2025, I would have picked a very different stack!

Nice! And sure, it can make sense to engineer certain things with real code (e.g. on GCP) and then tie it to no-code for the ease of updating the front end or data. That's actually what I'm doing at mvpcto.com, advising less-technical founders who are working with limited resources to help them navigate some of these choices. And I just added Softr to my recent post, thanks for that: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/how-to-hire-an-experienced-us-based-web-developer-for-as-low-as-25-per-hour-a2477c0cf1
