Looking for recommendations on transactional email service
Hey guys, I'm working on my podcast/newsletter discovery tool, FeedSeek, and I am looking for a service to handle sending transactional email (for post-signup, reset password etc).
A quick couple Google searches turned up MailGun and SendGrid, but as I'm new to this particular realm, I'm looking for advice.
A simple API would be ideal. The app is a React front-end with a little Node.js. What do you guys think?
Both SendGrid and Mailgun are good options, I've used them in the past for different things and they're really similar. Transactional emailing is pretty commoditized at this point, so I'd go with the cheapest one for your use case!
I can also vouch for SendGrid - I've used it for several years now and manage it for a number of clients who send out millions of emails every month. It's cost effective and their APIs are great.
