Hi,
During the weekend I launched small side project on HackerNews, it's called IndieFeeds. In a nutshell it's HN clone / RSS aggregator where submissions come from personal sites only. I add these feeds manually while browsing HN.
I just thought HN community will like something like this, so I build it to find it out. That was my main motivation :). Besides that I love idea of personal sites, even though I have problems with running my own (full time job, and small kids in a house do not help :).
Anyway, looks like people on HN maybe not loved it, but definitely liked the idea: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28883050. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with this project next. I thought I'll post it here, and maybe you can help, do you have any ideas where could I go with it?
Sky is the limit, but for my sideprojects I have about 1-2 hours a day max :)
Check this site I found here on IH https://whattobuild.co/
Yeah, but I'm looking for suggestions on what do to next with IndieFeeds project, not what to build next :)
Oh I see. A couple of things
Allow user to submit their RSS feed which you will review on your end and approve or disapprove
Weekly newsletter where user can specify which feed they want the blogs from
Search bar
