If you’re serious about building here, a few things from an AI/product perspective:
-Build your LinkedIn presence. Vertical SaaS in F&B lives or dies on distribution and credibility. 400 contacts won’t cut it, you need to be seen as a domain insider before pilots scale.
-Be realistic about vertical SaaS economics. Restaurant ops software isn’t a weekend GPT project. It’s capital-intensive, takes years, and requires relentless sales motion. You’re essentially trying to catch the moon, not impossible, but not cheap.
-Nail one pain point first. Forget the $900B market stat. Show that you can solve one clear, urgent pain for restaurant operators today. If you can get 5–10 sites to use and pay for that, investors will take you seriously.

That’s how real traction is built in this space.
