Looking for tech cofounder to build SaaS in the project management space.

Hey everyone!

I've worked in design & product management for the last 10 years. A problem I've seen at every company I've worked at is that managers have a hard time keeping a pulse on all the projects their teams are working on while Project Managers struggle to keep everyone in the loop with the right level of detail.

This happens for a few reasons:

  • Employees stick to their favourite tool. Some use notion, asana, jira which is frustrating for everyone on a different platform. In theory this problem goes away if everyone uses tool X – in practice that doesn't happen.
  • Too many documents related to a project make it hard to know where to look to see up to date info.
  • Project managers have too many stakeholders making it hard to keep everyone in the loop

The idea:

  • All project updates in one place. Easily share updates via email/slack.
  • One place to see all project links (Slack channel, Project spec, Design, Eng tickets, etc.)
  • See everyone working on a project
  • Allow stakeholders to "Follow" projects and subscribe to updates
  • Integrations with Slack/Jira/Linear to share updates or link projects to tickets.

About me:

  • I've worked in startups for the last 10 years (SaaS, Marketplaces, Fintech)
  • Previous to this I built an app called gSweets which was nominated for a - Golden Kitty Award for Productivity (no longer active).
  • I can design the product & grow the business.

I'm confident we can build and launch an MVP of this in 2-3 months. I have a prototype I'm happy to share on a call :)

Cheers,

    Hey Jeremy!

I'm interested in knowing more about your vision on this Project Management tool. I have built my own tool before but wasn't able to find traction, so decided to drop it after a few months.

Let me know if you would like to discuss - chan@hey.com.

I just wanted to let you know about MassLight. They invest capital and engineers in startups, solely in exchange for equity. A whole tech team and capital to help you launch your product. They even often take CTO roles with the companies they invest in.
Take a look at their website: www.masslight.com
They're based in Washington, DC. And work with companies in Europe, US, and Canada.

    Hey Jeremy,

I am a Engineering Manager managing a global team and I can relate to the problem that you are trying to solve at a certain level. I am actually one of those stakeholders that may have faced this problem.

I would love to discuss the details of the idea and also talk about monitization if you have something in mind.

DM me and we can chat more!

    Cheers

    Hi @jeremykovac
    I hope you are fine.
I have seen your background and it seems you are really interested to team up with the tech person(s).
I have also gone through your ideas to improve managers working routines and project speed/performance itself.
I have worked with the notion, slack and Trello but I am always open to learning new things or working with new tools to manage the projects/to make them successful.

I have experience in developing a SaaS web app and I know how it works.
    About me:
I have almost 2 years of experience with website development with the help of python/Django.
I have almost worked with 19 clients from all over the world. and most of them are from US and Canada.
If it seems interesting to you, we can collaborate.
    Thanks
