Looking for technical co-founder to build something more than just another lame app

Covid-19 has accelerated the working from home mega trend. As such, people need more space but don't necessarily have the money to buy bigger places in dense urban areas like San Francisco. Existing sites like Zillow are great if you know where you want to live but are not optimized to help people figure out which neighborhood/community would be a great fit. We are currently building a proof of concept personalized algorithm that will first be focused on helping people find homes but that has many other relevant and adjacent geospatial applications.

We are looking for a technical development lead role who would wear multiple hats as we build out our product and would have proven experience in front-end engineering, back-end engineering, quality engineering, integration, overall platform cloud architecture (AWS preferred).

Ideally, this person values clear and direct communication, no drama/ego, and would be excited to be a co-founder for a 'data positive' company (can explain more what that means on a 1v1 basis) and to grow a culture founded on the belief that we are 'human beings' and not 'human doings'. Note that we are also are committed to giving 1% of our revenue back to communities we are operating in to create the YMCA/JCCs of the future while creating a diverse and inclusionary work environment.

The ideal candidate will be self motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment and have an agile mindset. This role may eventually direct a team of engineers. Management and team leadership experience is expected.
