Looking for technical partner to streamline SaaS onboarding
Hi All - I am looking to solve a big pain point with a lot of potential: getting started with SaaS products is the worst part of the product experience. It is time consuming, arduous, and is where companies win and lose customers. I'm looking to leverage AI to address this -- see a high level solution description below. Description: A software that plugs into your SaaS trial experience that analyzes user actions and makes recommendations (or takes over completely) for decreased time-to-value. An AI model would be trained to optimize for the core actions you want your users to take and an embeddable widget would live within your website that can:
- Ingest what you are trying to accomplish as a new user in a product
- Offer to take the actions for you (i.e. setting up templates, configuring permissions across your team, etc.) or guide you through it
Are you at least a bit technical? What do you mean by "I'm looking to leverage AI to address this"
Ai doesn't magically solve everything without instructions so having it plug into a Saas and automagically work is nearly impossible without having him have access to all the data which is different from Saas to Saas.(Different technologies and tech stacks.)
You would need a big amount of setup before that even have a possibility to work.
Having an AI that can take over control is dangerous. Ai are so unreliable that without human confirmation you can get all kinds of bad results.
Would be glad to talk this out with you if you are interested. I by no means think just slapping the word AI on this creates a business. I am hopeful a model can be trained based on successful user actions on a website. I don’t think this is a small lift either but it’s also what makes this exciting.
I've also thought about tackling this. The Siri for on-boarding and reducing churn that offers a personalized experience and recommendations based on the user's current journey and content consumption
let me save you some time, what you are suggesting to do is not technically possible, to be more precise it is technically possible only if the SaaS product is built on top of a platform that has all of the features you are describing, but as making a platform that is capable of building SaaS systems is quite complex and very unnecessary (read as, very expensive way to waste money) it becomes the "not technically possible" term.
And adding AI in the description just shows how far from reality you are, this is not a pitch for a stupid investor, but even if it was you will need the embodiment of the term "dumb money" to back something like this.
