Hey everyone,
When the quarantine hit, I started doing my workouts at home like most people had to. Instead of going to a gym and meeting my trainer, I browsed Youtube and found A TON of awesome videos. However, they were poorly organised. There are a lot of great trainers and great videos, but when I was training or creating a workout, I spent a lot of time finding the right videos.
I started building a database with videos I liked best, and after a while I thought it might come in handy for others too, so I built a website around it.
So I started building https://homeworkoutdb.com/
I haven't "launched" or promoted it anywhere yet, this is the first time I've posted it in the wild. I would love to get some feedback.
You can browse workout videos by equipment category, and filter by bodypart.
When you're on a video page, you can quickly jump to the different exercises in the video with the exercises list on the right. (as of right now, this doesn't work on mobile yet, and 90% of the videos have an exercise list, not all of them do).
If the site gets some traction, I'm going to expand and add features that allow you to create and share workouts, but that stuff's for later :-)
Cheers,
