Looking to help non-native speakers with their English

Hi! I'm working on a new idea in the language learning space focused in the tech/development community. If you identify as a member of this community AND you're interested in improving your English, please read on...

I am looking for real-world examples of things people would like help with.

  • Do you have an email draft you'd like someone to edit for you?
  • Did you read something recently in an article that you wish someone could explain to you?
  • Did you hear something in a conversation recently and not understand it?

If so, please drop it in the replies and I will reply with an answer/edit/revision for you! You can also send it to me privately if you'd like.

Thank you.

    Are you providing proofreading services?

I think that anyone able to visit this site and read your post has a good grasp of english, like myself. The main problem isn't reading nor understanding, but writing and speaking.

People who have english as second language are always afraid their content hasn't the right grammar, the right tone or a natural feel. We mostly don't know how to write lighthearted material, how to be funny or when to use expressions.

An affordable service to grammar review site content, blog posts, newsletter content and explainer videos would be great. Main problem is, what is affordable for an american, say, $20 per month, might seem expensive for someone with ESL because in their country $20 might have a different purchase power...

He says that he focuses on the tech/development industry, who typically earn a pretty good salary. I'd say that 20$ seems like a reasonable amount of money for a service like that.
