This isn’t a “hire me” post.
This is me being honest about the last few years.
I’ve built MVPs that reached accelerators (500 Startups). I’ve joined tiny teams (4–6 engineers) and shipped features that entire ops teams depended on. I’ve built AI tools, dashboards, payments — the unsexy stuff that keeps a company alive.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something:
👉 My best work always happens when I’m helping a founder bring clarity to something messy.
Not writing perfect code.
Not joining a corporate team.
But sitting with a founder who has a vision and saying:
“Okay, here’s the version we should build first. And here’s how I’ll build it fast.”
That’s where I’m useful.
That’s why I’m posting here.
💬 Who I work best with
If you’re a non-technical founder and right now you’re thinking:
“I’m not sure what to build first.”
“My last developer vanished/burned me.”
“I need someone experienced who can just own the MVP.”
“I don’t want an agency or a junior dev.”
“I’ve been sitting on this idea forever.”
Then yeah — we should talk.
I don’t do vague consulting.
I don’t do endless planning.
I build the thing.
Fast.
Clean.
With you, not for you.
🧩 What I actually do
Turn messy ideas → a simple, clean MVP roadmap
Build full-stack products (Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Node, AI, whatever fits)
Fix half-built MVPs
Prepare products for first users, investors, or pilots
Join tiny teams and take over the technical leadership
Make decisions founders don’t want to make alone
I’m not trying to be the “AI guru” or “10x engineer.”
I’m just someone who has built enough products to know how to get the first version right.

No bullshit.
No agency nonsense.
Just real building.

Hi Jason,
I am Calling all Tech-Savvy Aquarists / Tech-Savvy Non-Aquarists! 🐠💻
Let’s be real—most fish-keeping websites look like they were built in 2005. The hobby is beautiful, but the digital resources are fragmented and outdated.
I’m building theaquaguide to change that. We aren't starting from scratch—the domain is locked, the framework for the "Fish-Bible" is ready, and the blueprint for the community hub is laid out. Now, I need a "Founding Circle" to help me bring the "Digital Ocean" to life.
Full Transparency: This is a passion-led startup. Right now, there’s no salary—just a shared vision. We’re building this as a side-hustle, scaling the MVP together, and sharing the rewards once we monetize (sponsorships/tools).
I’m looking for co-creators who love the hobby as much as they love tech:
💻 Full-Stack Devs: To help me build the real-time chat and dictionary logic.
🎨 UI/UX Designers: To make the experience feel "water-smooth."
🧪 Aquatic Experts: To help verify the data for our encyclopedia.
📹 Video Creators: To lead the visual storytelling.
If you’ve ever spent your weekend scaping a tank and debugging code, we need to talk.
Want to join the tank? Drop a comment with your specialty (both in tech and the hobby!) or DM me. Let’s look at the roadmap together. 🌊

Hi Jason, I’m building RescueNet360, a pet recovery platform where the only thing that matters in the MVP is proving that AI visual matching can reunite a lost pet with its owner fast.
I already have the UX flows defined and I’m intentionally keeping scope brutal: photo upload → match attempt → owner notification. Nothing else.
I’m at the point where clarity is there and execution speed is the bottleneck. Your framing around deciding what not to build first is exactly where I’m operating right now.
Would love to compare notes and see if this is something you’d be interested in digging into together.
This really hits the nail on the head. In my experience with gaming and avatar avtarworldd.comapps, the biggest hurdle for founders isn’t coding it’s deciding what to build first. I’ve seen projects stall because teams tried to perfect features that users didn’t even need yet.
Working with someone who can sit down, untangle messy ideas, and turn them into a playable MVP is invaluable. For gaming platforms , that might mean shipping the core avatar system, basic matchmaking, or in-app interactions before worrying about extra polish. Quick iteration and early user testing are the keys to figuring out what actually engages players.
Having an experienced builder on your side not only speeds things up but also avoids wasted effort and keeps the vision intact. For founders struggling to get their gaming ideas off the ground, this is exactly the kind of support that makes a difference.

Congrats on making it to 500!
Great post, Jason. Onc the minimal valuable product is ready it the Go-To-Market is the next hurdle...Build your BRAND and GTM ahead of time.
I help founders and CEOs realign their business — by restoring the strategy, brand, narrative, and direction behind it. I work across tech, AI, and lifestyle ventures: from innovative products that struggle to explain their value, to brands that drifted away from their original mission.
Companies hire me because in a world reshaped by AI, complexity, and narrative overload, they need clarity, differentiation, and direction. I realign the business so growth becomes clear, focused, and achievable again.
Founders often describe me in ways that clarified my true value:
“THE PERSON WHO FINALLY TELLS US THE TRUTH — AND FEELS THE FUTURE DIRECTION.”
I bring reality, not theatre. I sense where the business wants to go.
“THE ONE WHO SEES THE REAL PROBLEM BENEATH THE SYMPTOMS.”
Others fix tactics. I fix the system: identity, direction, GTM, and alignment.
“AN ENTREPRENEUR WHO THINKS IN STRATEGY, BRAND, TECH & GROWTH — NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.”
I use brand as a business lever, not decoration.
“SOMEONE WHO BRINGS DIRECTION WITH ZERO EGO.”
Clarity should calm the room. I help teams regain focus and conviction.
WHAT I DO
I realign businesses when they hit drift, complexity, or misalignment.
I rebuild the core — so it reflects where the company is truly heading — and I bring teams back into alignment so everyone rows the same way.
This isn’t classic consulting.
It’s business realignment, using strategy and narrative as the operating system for growth.
This need is amplified by rapid AI-driven change, unclear differentiation, and pressure to “keep up” without losing the brand’s identity or direction.
WHO I WORK WITH
Ambitious founders, CEOs, and technical or product-driven teams who:
Tech, AI, and innovation-led companies especially value my ability to turn complexity and technological change into a clear, compelling GTM path.
MY APPROACH
I don’t add noise.
I remove it.
I collapse years of drift into weeks of clarity — reconnecting Identity → Strategy → Business → Trajectory.
When this locks in, growth accelerates, decisions get easier, and teams move with conviction.
IF THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE
If clarity, renewed direction, or a stronger GTM story is non-negotiable right now, I’m your navigator.
Let’s talk.

Strong post, Jason. I help founders use Reddit to validate ideas and get real users once the MVP is ready. Your approach lines up with exactly what my clients struggle with
If you’re open, I can share a few growth angles that pair well with what you’re building
DM me anytime
Thanks for the compliment! It sounds like you're working on something impactful by helping founders leverage Reddit for validation and user acquisition. I’d love to hear more about those growth angles you mentioned. I'll definitely reach out when I'm ready to explore this further. Appreciate the offer!
Thanks, appreciate that! Reddit has been a powerful space for the founders I work with too especially when it comes to turning early validation into consistent user growth
I’m definitely interested in hearing the growth angles you mentioned. Always open to learning new perspectives and seeing how they align with the strategies I use for my clients
Feel free to share anytime I’m always looking for ways to refine what I offer and help founders get better results on Reddit.
This resonates a lot. Most MVP failures I’ve seen weren’t technical — they came from building too much before the core workflow was clear. Helping founders decide what not to build first is usually the real leverage. Curious, what’s the most common mistake you see non-technical founders make early on?

The prerequisite for leveraging one's personal abilities is identifying one's strengths. Just as achieving market growth requires mastering effective marketing skills, there is now an intelligent marketing software that can help those unfamiliar with marketing quickly get started. This software is called Amplift. ai , and I recommend it to everyone.

I’m building a simple but powerful tool for importers in Nigeria and Africa.
It converts 1688 / Alibaba links into:
• Full product details (English)
• Local cost breakdown
• Shipping + landed cost estimates
• Resell price suggestions
Target users: resellers + small importers.
Stack: Bubble or custom (OpenAI + scraping)
I’m looking for a technical co-founder to build the MVP.
No funding yet but equity split.
If you’re interested in solving a real African e-commerce problem, let’s talk.
