Hi All,
I've joined a team of angel investors who's looking to make small investments of up to $10K. We're looking for lean online ventures which already have some paying clients/Strong product market fit.
No need for fancy Powerpoint decks, but please explain in detail about your business, yourself and your past experience. You need to be really talented, and you need to commit full time to the business if investment is made, no exceptions on that.
Just to set expectations - If you think that your business is worth $1M don't bother to reach out. We're investing in a high risk-high reward strategy.
We can add value as active investors in the worlds of E-commerce, Gaming (Apps), online advertising and SAAS in general.
We're investing through a Delaware based entity.
If relevant, DM me for an email address. Please write in short about your business and if relevant I will direct you to the relevant partner.
Thanks,
hahaah up to 10K GTFO, that's pocket change hommie!!!

https://tinyseed.com/ offer $180k at 10% for 2 founders and their mentor team is great.
That basically values the company at around $1.8m
I would like to point out to everybody that they should read OP’s blog before trusting him. Here is a direct quote from his blog:
There is plenty more of this at under-30-millionaire.com, a domain name which should tell you all you need to know.

$10k but at what value? What % of equity for it?
$10K is not really "skin in the game", from the standpoint of someone working full-time on a project that has paying clients.
It's like investing $10 in a million projects, hoping one becomes Facebook, but it just gets wasted, precisely because of the type of person attracted to a $10 investment.
Hi,
I was expecting comments like that. Consider few things.
An example of an investment we've made - A very talented guy who had a decent paying job which he hated. He was dreaming about lunching an E commerce product. Apparently this guy had spent 400 hours listening to podcasts and researching for products and strategies online. But he was afraid to invest his own money. He took $7K from us and was able to get some inventory and to set up a nice online store, which is now profitable. He is now full time in the business with 3 full time outsourced employees, and we had covered our investment after 10 months. Good deal for all sides.
Thanks,
Your example doesn't fit your criterion of "paying clients/Strong product market fit". This guy watched a bunch of podcasts.
"But he was afraid to invest his own money."
This is a huge red flag that he wasn't confident in his ability to execute. How can someone who so underestimates their ability be motivated enough to overcome the obstacles inherent in bootstrapping a business?

I think 10k should be invested when the business idea is qualified as “possible value to target audience” through the CJM)
I'm going to agree with others here. 10k really isn't a significant amount of money. Especially if you want to find someone with customers and product fit.
