Looking to Set Up Digital Agency (Possibly Python/Data Focused)

Hi

I am thinking of setting up a digital agency, possibly focused on python development / data science, and I'm wondering if anything would be interested in brainstorming a bit or possibly joining such a venture.

A bit of background:

• I have a finance background with 15+ years working in the financial services industry in London
• I subsequently ran an economic consultancy where we did a lot of development work - from time series analysis to app development. A lot of work was in python, numpy, pandas, etc
• I've also been developing web apps for > 10 years, various technologies incl. RoR, JS, React, SQL, etc

I think to start it makes more sense to focus on a niche (hence python / data science) rather than offering full stack development.

I don't have existing client relationships, and if you're up for a chat, that would be a key point to discuss - how would we market this and build a client base.

I'm not keen on starting out as a freelancer first and then over time building this into an agency. I think there are big benefits to having an agency (incl. much better rates etc, being able to take on larger projects, more professional appearance in front of potential clients, etc).
