Looking to work w/Bootstrap Founders Who Would Rather Code Than Sell

Hi Y'all,

My name is Wes, and I have a diverse background that spans 13 years in programming and sales.

Based in San Antonio, TX, I currently work with founders who solve niche problems for niche groups, particularly those who have already achieved product-market fit and have paying customers. I've had the pleasure of consulting with multiple founders of ChatGPT-based apps, all earning between 2K - 20K MRR. 💼

I fondly remember my sysadmin days of bug-hunting server issues for the IRS and still code Rust in my free time, often accompanied by Lofi Hip Hop, Jazz, or Synthwave, depending on my mood. 🎶

I transitioned to sales in 2019 and was the Technical Editor for Tech Powered Sales. 📖 I love the conversations I get from being in Sales, and I don't think I could ever return!

My focus is assisting founders who would rather code than sell, helping them grow their customer base or taking over the role entirely.

I prefer to work with founders in the United States or the UK, and I am direct, to the point, and revenue-focused. 💡 I firmly believe in building businesses, not just products. 🚀

Boiled Down Who I Want to Work With:

  • Must solve a well-defined problem for a niche group(non-negotioable)
  • Must have paying customers(absolutely no pre-revenue)
  • Must be open to feedback and seek it like a dog with a bone!

In terms of commitment, the hours I can contribute to a new project will depend on various factors, ranging from 5hrs to 40hrs+, based on the founder's needs and business requirements. ⏰ I'm open to discussing tasks and responsibilities with the right founder and am receptive to their suggestions. 👥

If you want to learn more about my experiences and how I could potentially help your business, feel free to comment or connect. ✉️

All the best! 🌟

Hi Wes, any interest in coaching/sports? www.strive.pm

I mean that's a giant TAM and a incredibly saturated market. I would need to see some revenue or signups to actually properly evaluate it.

      1. 2

The problem/product is pretty niche, I think I have the opposite problem of much smaller TAM. Recently onboarded first paying customer using across 5 teams & 300 players

    Love this post Wes.

What niches and types of solutions are you most interested in? :)

    1. 1

I'm agnostic on all of that.

It looks cool and has the potential to make a lot of money but without any real traction or revenue I can't really judge it.

Fairs. I'll come back to you in a couple months when I get a dev to build it :)
