Lots of users in China and Taiwan. How to connect with them?

I am currently building https://codereader.dev and about 60% of the downloads come from Asia, particularly from China and Taiwan. I've tried some low effort things to connect with them but I feel it's time to double down on it. For people building communities in Asia, what do you do? Is wechat the answer?

That’s a great problem to have — getting 60% of users from China/Taiwan shows strong demand already. For a dev tool like yours, going deeper with local platforms and language support could really unlock growth.

There’s actually a competition where ideas/projects like this can be submitted — entry is $19 and winner gets a Tokyo trip.

Super interesting traction — especially for a developer-focused product like codereader.dev. Doubling down on regional communities (like local dev forums or platforms) sounds like the right move.

You might find this useful — there’s a live competition for builders working on ideas like this, $19 entry and a Tokyo trip for the winner.
