I've thought about an idea similar to this several times. My thought was always to take math curriculums and then put together all the best resources created. Videos/Articles/Games/Quizzes etc. that would help teach them. Basically an aggregate of the best work out there with rankings. Then from a crowdsourced perspective, you can put out a list of needs for people to write, make videos, games etc. to bolster it. Thus eventually coming up with an extremely robust set of resources for people.
Even more fun could be alternatives. Does that one article not resonate with you, but another does. Maybe that slight difference in explaining things that makes it click for one person and not another could be gathered as well.
But I was never committed to finding the market, so it lives on as an idea. :D Since you are looking for a technical founder, have you been finding people who could use this curriculum?
It's funny that you say that because as a learner this is exactly how I function. I look for the best resources out there and then separate out those which I find the most useful.
I have my own particular way of thinking and what I like. But as a teacher/tutor I can see that certain methodologies that resonate with specific students.
One idea may be that if you are not sure where to begin you could take an assessment of your learning style and level of difficulty, get some suggestions as to where to start, and if you wanted to you could "follow" someone else who has listed out their favorites.
For me, this could be bigger than math - too. Why not learn anything this way?
Yeah, I am on the same page. Reading your response below, it sounds like you are more looking for lots of questions as opposed to teaching material. Is that correct?
And have you talked to other teachers/tutors about your idea? What do they think?
Regarding my response below - Yes, I was thinking of building a database of questions as an immediate need. In a way, that might be considered the curated version of the method that you mentioned above.
And as for the idea you mentioned above, I could see the potential for tons of benefits, as well potential affiliations that could prop up the information available. In fact, I bought a website domain simpleelearn.com with that intent to figure out how to help people simply learn anything. So it's still an idea I have interest in.
But back to the original idea - the reason I was thinking of a database was because I feel the need to easily produce other questions of the same type to reinforce learning. So there would need to be some level of ability to modify, and templatize each problem as much as possible.
As for talking with other teachers/tutors, that's a good point although I haven't done yet. It's probably because I have found many examples of curated questions from IXL to Khan Academy to smaller private companies which I can't name offhand. So I believe that there is definitely a market for this. And I likewise, I know that I could use it immediately, if I could make an MVP.
I could definitely help out in building an MVP. But it seems to me that what you would need to start is probably just a excel/google sheet with links to templates etc. for you to use yourself and figure out what you need to accomplish your goal.
A website comes into more use if you are trying to share it with other people.

Overall, I'm a total newbie.
I'm familiar with some SQL, HTML. I'm currently using Snowflake.
I've taken a look at some Python/CSS, but nothing more than completing a few exercises online to get a feel for them.
Could you tell me a little more about the idea, and your area of expertise if any?
I've taught math for over 18 years. I also currently tutor online, and homeschool. As a teacher, I want a way to get students quickly up to speed when they are behind. As a tutor I have a need to easily find high quality questions to give to my students, real time, with a variety of levels and which fit different purposes. As a homeschooling parent, I want the best quality education for my student but that is streamlined because I don't have time for fluff. Also, I need the ability in all 3 cases for the ability to quickly churn up additional questions that are exactly the same type and at a similar level of difficulty.
