Low Code Open Source Marketplace

I see a lot of people here interested on creating an application without coding. And while I think that would be great, code is only part of the process and there are skills that anyway are needed when creating a web application.

What I mean is that the basic building block of programming still apply to no code platform. In that sense I see no code platforms as tools that:

  • help coping with the fear of learning to program, since it is believed to be a hard thing
  • really help doing things easier and faster, even for experienced software developers

I still think there is a need in the market for a no code marketplace. I found several websites related to no code tools here on indie hackers.

But in all of them I could not find the mix of all these things:

  • Open source: both templates and the platform itself
  • Free templates for different languages
  • Free marketplace for developers to share, review and improve their creations
  • Share success stories for each template

I am thinking this would be similar to GitHub but with a twist towards entrepreneurs sharing stories on how they integrated software to make things work.

Is there something like I am describing already? What are the problems this platform could have?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is similar?? https://www.makerpad.co/tools

That's a great collection of tools.

What it doesn't have is the success stories for each tool... But maybe then I'm thinking about indie hackers... I need to refine my idea.
