Low level infrastructure for your startup sucks

Not so long ago, I launched my startup. When I was choosing a stack, I heard a lot about you do not need AWS and modern tools. Instead, use a single server and manual stuff. But this is bullshit because these people do not know your experience and often have no idea what they are talking about. Do what you think will be faster. The rest is not so important.

• As a developer, you will be more comfortable working with modern tools, not manual deployment and server management.
• Instead of focusing on the stack, focus on code. Write fast, not scalable, simple.
• Successful startups have not so good code as you think, but it doesn't matter.
