Lunaps - Personalized audio books for your children

Together with two friends (and fellow parents), I’ve been building Lunaps, an app that creates personalized bedtime audio stories where your child becomes the hero.
We’re building Lunaps because we wanted a calmer, more personal way to end the day with our kids. As parents, we know how hard it can be to show up with energy every night, so we used AI to help make those moments easier, imaginative, and full of meaning.
You just enter their name and age, and Lunaps generates a narrated story using AI-written scripts with matching illustrations and fitting voices.
It’s all audio — no screens, no subscriptions, just calm evenings.

This is such a great idea! I have three kids, and my wife and I usually read books or tell stories at bedtime, but sometimes we’re just too tired to do it well. Your app would be incredibly helpful on those evenings. I love that it sparks imagination too.
A few suggestions from a fellow parent:
– If there are multiple kids, maybe consider a “multi-kid” mode where there can be several heroes in the same story
– Adding an option to record a parent’s voice could make the story even more magical and personal.
– And one big idea: maybe introduce “therapeutic stories” - bedtime tales that gently help kids work through specific emotions like fear or sadness with the help of AI.

Hi! I don't have children yet, so that's why I didn't sign up, but it seems like a good idea.
In fact, a pro version, which I would at least pay for, is for the stories to be based on or inspired by historical events or legends from different cultures, so the child can gradually learn in a fun way.
I'm from Colombia, so considering the economy here, I would pay what a Netflix subscription costs, which is around $7.50.
