I created a tunneling tool for self hosted game servers earlier this year in March, seems like forever ago. It's been pretty fun, lots of reaching out to users directly over Discord to help them setup a Minecraft server and such. Now have over 4,000 people that tried the program with around 800 actually sticking around (need to better analyze my data). I feel like the project might be default-alive and on track to break even with operating costs, which is something new for me.
Anyways, wanted to start sharing the project and journey. https://www.indiehackers.com/product/playit-gg
Glad to see you're getting traction. Also, plenty of game communities out there, so reaching your users shouldn't be that difficult.
Thanks! I've only been able to get a toe in the door with Minecraft and Terraria so far. I recently watched a video with 60+ people playing Factorio which sparked my interest so I think I'll be heading over there next. There is a good bit of skepticism tho with running software from a new project.
